Preparing schools for eLearning Gateway requirements with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS 2007)

ADA Technology Services will be holding a series of FREE seminars to help schools prepare for the UK Government’s eLearning Gateway requirements. For secondary schools, this must be operational by September 2010. The set deadline for primary schools is September 2012.

Based on Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS 2007), ADA is already engaged with numerous schools regarding hosted VLE collaborative platforms which facilitate parental engagement via the SIMS Learning Gateway.

In doing so, ADA sponsored schools will already be conforming to Government regulations around “parental engagement” via an integrated suite of server platforms designed to revolutionise the learning environment.

Each ADA seminar will discuss the specific steps required to ensure remote access to attendance, assessment, behaviour, pupil ePortfolio and SEN information takes place in a safe and secure online environment.
