EqualLogic & VMware delivers immediate benefits at UKA

ADA Technology Services has delivered a bespoke server virtualisation project for UKA, the UK’s Governing Body for Athletics. This new deployment will deliver a more resilient yet scaleable IT infrastructure to aid UKA’s preparations for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic games.
ADA has moved UKA's server infrastructure to a VMware virtual environment. Equipped with multiple Dell EqualLogic PS Series iSCSI SANs, UKA now has a consolidated storage platform which will enhance local resilience and facilitate a simple route for disaster recovery.
Commenting on the deployment, ADA’s CIO Lee Ganly said “I was delighted when ADA was selected as UKA’s virtualisation implementation partner.
