IT Finance Specialist Sean Read to join ADA Board

Commercial and asset finance specialist Sean Read will join ADA Technology Services on 1 February 2010 as Chief Operating Officer.
Sean brings with him some 28 years of commercial and asset finance experience. His career to date includes 17 years within the bank-owned sector (15 years with the Barclays Group and 2 years with RBS). This included a four year term heading up the Invoice Discounting Division at Barclays.
Sean joined the IT finance specialist Syscap in 2000, heading up the Organisation's fledgling Education Team. In the years which followed, Sean helped to position Syscap as the UK education sector's leading IT finance provider.
After direct participation in an MBO, Sean became Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Syscap in 2006. In the same year, Sean assumed responsibility for operations, credit, risk and funding. During his time as COO, Sean initiated or worked on many of Syscap's vendor programmes including ADA's own Receivables Programme.

Sean's primary focus will be to manage the commercial and operational side of ADA's IT managed service platform.
