1st/2nd line Helpdesk Engineers (shift work)


We require a high standard of ability to log and close technical calls in a number of technologies including desktop, server, storage, backup, thin-client, virtualisation, web technologies, remote access and networking. Good general technical skills are therefore required, plus the ability to troubleshoot, escalate and most importantly communicate. It would also be beneficial for candidates to have experience and understanding of the ITIL framework.



Helpdesk Shift Managers


Our Helpdesk Shift Managers are expected to take escalated calls and operate as Incident Managers, providing customer liaison and escalation where necessary. We require a high standard of ability to log and close technical calls in a number of technologies including desktop, server, storage, backup, thin-client, virtualisation, web technologies, remote access and networking. Good general technical abilities are therefore required and the ability to troubleshoot, escalate and most importantly communicate. It would also be beneficial for candidates to have experience and understanding of the ITIL framework.



Systems Engineers


Our Systems Engineers are rotated between project and support work, mostly onsite with customers. We require hands-on experience in a number of technologies including desktop, server, storage, backup, thin-client, virtualisation, web technologies, remote access and networking including VOIP. Good general technical abilities are therefore required in order to build, install, troubleshoot and recommend improvements to these technologies. Good presentation and communication skills are paramount and it would also be beneficial for candidates to have knowledge of Citrix, VMWare, Linux and CISCO.



Solaris Engineers


Our Solaris Engineers are predominantly focused on our banking and finance clients and are rotated between project and support work, split between London and the South. We require hands-on experience in Sun technologies including server, storage, virtualisation and backup in the financial sector, with experience of banking/trading technologies. Good Sun-based technical abilities are therefore required in order to build, install, troubleshoot and recommend improvements to these technologies. Presentation and communication skills are also paramount. For candidates with Technical Architect and commercial experience, there may be additional opportunities in our Technical Consulting team.



Change Managers


Our Change Managers are expected to control change, configuration and release management for ADA and our customers. We require a good knowledge of the ITIL framework and experience of change management as a minimum, plus an understanding of the development lifecycle and a high enough level of technical understanding to gauge the level of risk and impact from change requests. A steady, procedures-based work style and excellent communication skills are very important.
